Westerville North’s JV Girls Lacrosse lost a close one, 10-9, against Columbus School for Girls on Tuesday. Down late in the game 10-7 with just over 2 minutes remaining, North came back with 2 goals to cut the lead to 10-9 and just :15 seconds remaining on the clock. North won the draw, worked the ball down the field and was able to get off a final shot as time expired. Unfortunately for the Warriors, the CSG goalie blocked the shot and the game ended.
Scoring for the Warriors were Ariana Sanabria with 3 goals, Jamie Stocker with 2, and Maddy Morrison, Lauren Harris, Aubrey McMahon, and Emma Best each with 1 goal. Madi Martin had 9 saves in goal for the Warriors.
