Westerville North High School will be hosting mCORE mobile cardiac screenings on Monday, October 15 during the regular school day. Cost per student is $40 (typically is $75) and any Warrior student-athlete can register. mCORE screens athletes for the cardiac conditions and abnormalities which may put them at risk of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). mCORE partners with high schools to give convenient and dependable heart screenings to students. SCA is the #1 killer of student-athletes each year, many of which could have been prevented with a simple examination such as this.
